From May 14th to 16th, the 17th "Challenge Cup" college students' extracurricular academic science and technology competition in Zhejiang Province came to an end at Zhejiang Normal University. This competition is sponsored by the Provincial Communist Youth League, the Provincial Department of Education, the Provincial Academy of Social Sciences, the Provincial Association for Science and Technology, and the Provincial Federation of Students. A total of 323 works from 50 colleges and universities were shortlisted for the provincial finals of the main competition. Our school’s student projects and undergraduate college projects Competing on the same stage won the first prize. Our school regained the first prize of "Big Challenge" after a lapse of 10 years, fully demonstrating the achievements of our school's students' scientific and technological innovation education.
The first prize of the "Challenge Cup" project is the "Highly Reliable Heating Regenerated Natural Gas Molecular Sieve Dehydration Skid" project led by Chen Bingliang from Class 1907 of the School of Automation. (Participants: Chen Bingliang, Zhong Zhentian, Li Liezhang, Xu Xiao, Wang Mingsong, He Youfang, Lu Haoze, Shen Jiantao, Gao Caichen, Yang Cheng; Instructors: Wu Di, Fang Shengchou, Pang Wanxing.) This product structurally improves the structure of traditional molecular sieve diffusers, combines modern artificial intelligence algorithms and multi-channel sensor networks to realize intelligent switching of adsorption and regeneration processes under different working conditions, and develops equipment fault cloud diagnosis based on the principle of edge computing, which mechanism has high scientific innovation and industrial application value.
In addition, in this "Challenge Cup" competition red special event, our school organized 329 works with a total of 2635 students to participate, including the work ‘ “Retrospect a hundred years of party history, chase the light of faith”-Zhejiang Mechanical and Electrical Vocational and Technical College: Explore Red Culture Practices Contemporary “Craftsman Spirit” Social Practice Project’ won the Baiyou team. This competition devoted a lot of hard work to the team's teachers and students, the college, and the relevant departments of the whole school. The school attaches great importance to it. School leaders have instructed the Youth League Committee to do a good job of preparing for the competition. Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Zhou Zengkui has visited the project polishing site several times to communicate with teachers and students. The Youth League Committee and the School of Automation organized multiple efforts to polish the project, carried out multiple rounds of simulated defenses, instructed teachers and participating students to actively prepare for the battle, continuously improved the quality of the work, and finally achieved excellent results.
